S8 Capital rebrands elevators made at former Otis plant

ST.PETERSBURG, Jan 27 (PRIME) -- Holding company S8 Capital has rebranded the elevators produced at a plant formerly belonging to Otis Elevator Company in Russia into Meteor, spokeswoman Yelena Lugovaya told PRIME on Friday.

"Production of elevators under a new trademark Meteor Lift started on January 27, 2023. Capacity of the St. Petersburg plant stands at 10,000 elevators per year, but the company plans to raise output to 15,000 elevators soon," Lugovaya said.

Otis sold its business in Russia to S8 Capital in July.
